Virtual Village

Connecting from home.

In today's world, it is easy to feel disconnected from others. It's not always possible to meet up with someone in person, or to find someone with similar interests in your area. These programs were created to help individuals and families connect with each other. Whether it is for a parent group, fun activities to complete at home, or to sign your child up for a virtual learning group, we are working to create programs that are flexible to meet your needs.

Connecting with others safely (and comfortably) from your own home.

V.V. Breathe & Focus

Being a kid is tough. Being a kid during a global pandemic? Unimaginably tough. Whether it is coping with being away from your friends, trying to tolerate being with your siblings 24/7, or adjusting to virtual learning...we could all use a little support with some of our bigger emotions. This program is similar to our ABA social skills program of the same name. This program focuses on emotional awareness and regulation, by combining familiar school concepts such as 'Zones of Regulation' with ABA-based curriculums that focus on flexibility, "getting unstuck", and how to defuse a situation to help children learn more about their big emotions and explore and practice ways to process their emotions, and respond in a more appropriate and effective way.

This group is composed of 16 lessons. Each week, the children will explore a new topic together and practice various strategies. They will then complete worksheets or various activities and be sent  "homework" to practice the strategies.

Please note: this program is NOT directly supervised by a BCBA.
