Creating meaningful change.
Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) is the application of the science of behaviour to create meaningful change in an individual’s life. Behaviour analysis can be applied to a wide variety of skills, including activities of daily living (e.g., brushing teeth, toilet training, etc.), academic barriers (e.g., academic skill deficits, completing work independently, remaining on-task, etc.), gross and fine motor deficits, challenging behaviors (e.g., tantrums, aggression, etc.), language and communication, and social skills. ABA works by breaking down larger skills into small, objective targets that can be measured over time. Behaviour Analysts work with an individual to develop the targeted skills systematically, where each new skill builds on existing skills within the individual’s repertoire and sets the stage to learn larger, more complex skills.
Covid-19 Notice: Please note that due to Covid-19 and the fluctuating numbers in Ontario, some services may not be available, or may be altered in their format to ensure the safety and well-being of both clients and staff. We are all working together to create a safer way to provide ABA services during these unprecedented times. If a service that you are interested in is not currently available, please connect with us to be placed on a call list for when services resume.
